Dr. Héctor Ajubita Fernández

I graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid with practical training at the Hospital La Paz and specialist in Urology via MIR at the Hospital Clínico Universitario San Carlos de Madrid with periods of training at the Hospital Infantil "Gregorio Marañón" and at the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, obtaining the title of specialist in January 1999.

I have worked in several public and private hospitals in Madrid and the Canary Islands, and as an assistant urologist at the Hospital de GC "Doctor Negrín" I have been a pioneer in the introduction and development of urological laparoscopic surgery in the Canary Islands, performing all procedures routinely. I also dedicate special attention to reconstructive surgery of the urethra and male genitalia, which is technically very demanding.

I have extensive medical and surgical experience in the field of Urology and my personal and professional career in both the public and private sector endorses me as a reliable professional. My incorporation to the team of the Urology and Andrology Department is due to my desire to work in an atmosphere of cooperation with good professionals that allows me to offer the patient a personalised treatment of proven quality.
