Dr. Andrea Noya

I am a specialist in Urology, trained at the University Hospital of Salamanca (2018-2023). From the beginning I have had a deep vocation for urological and robotic surgery, which led me to perform a clinical fellowship in Belgium, where I trained in advanced techniques for renal and prostatic pathology and participated in the training of international surgeons.

Another of my great passions is renal transplantation, an area that I addressed in my doctoral thesis (cum laude, 2024) and in which I gained experience for five years in cadaveric, living and crossed donor. I studied Medicine at the University of Santiago de Compostela (2011-2017), a stage that strengthened my global vision of health and my interest in urology.

Within the specialty I focus on prostate and kidney oncology, benign prostate surgery, minimally invasive management of urinary lithiasis and reconstruction of the upper urinary tract. I conceive medicine as a comprehensive, personalized and preventive practice, ensuring that each patient understands his or her diagnosis and receives recommendations that improve his or her quality of life.

Committed to teaching and scientific dissemination, I have provided training in specialized surgery during my stay in Belgium. I speak Spanish, Galician and English, and I am taking up French again to offer a close attention in a multicultural environment.
